Conferences can be held winin the ample dining room, in the Patio Garden or for larger conference events a marquee can be arranged upon request.

The Patio Garden is ideal for smaller weddings. The Paddock can accommodate a marquee for up to 200 guests.

Where is the reception held?
The majority of our receptions are held in a marquee in the paddock next to the patio garden. Small receptions – 20 people for a sit-down meal or up to 60 people for drinks and canapés – can be held in the house. We have a lovely dining room which is ideal for a small intimate reception. We are not, however, able to have dancing and music in the house. 

What is included in the price?
Our prices are based on the hire of the venue alone.
A list of other expected costs can include registrar’s fee, marquee hire, music, catering, florists etc. and are additional, payable direct to the contractors. If you would like more information on the exact break down of costs for your day, we are more than happy to provide an estimate of costs and a list of suppliers. 
No corkage fee will be charged. 

Do we have to use your contractors?
You are welcome to source your own contractors. However, we have reliable contractors who we are happy to recommend.
We do reserve the right to refuse contractors if appropriate.

What time do we have to vacate the venue?
We welcome live bands and discos for marquee receptions in the paddock. We do request the music be kept at a reasonable level and that the music stops by midnight. All guests are requested to leave venue by 1am.
How much preparation time can we expect?
Contractors are able to access the venue 3 days before the event for marquee venue hire, 1 day prior for the Reception Rooms and Garden hire and the day of the event for the meeting room.

What guest Accomodation is available?
We have a list of reliable hotels and bnb's in the local area. This includes a Premier Inn, Country Hotel's and Bed and Breakfasts, we will be happy to provide a list on request.

Are Children welcome at the venue?
We welcome children at any of our events, however we must emphasise that children should be carefully supervised. 

What deposit do you ask for?
A 50% non-refundable deposit on confirmation of booking and the balance to be paid 2 weeks before the event. We also ask for a £100 refundable deposit against damage.

Terms and Conditions:

We reserve the right to refuse to accept any forward booking at any time at our sole discretion.
We do not accept bookings from, or enter into contracts with third party representatives.
All events must be pre-booked.
All bookings are subject to the completion of a contract and we reserve the right not to enter into a contract with potential clients if:
- Proof of current address cannot be provided
- Proof of address for the last five years cannot be provided
- We are not granted permission to carry out a credit check
- Credit rating is not satisfactory
All deposits for events are non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the clients.
All payments due or paid are non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the clients.
